Amrit joined Luto in 2019. She has a first-class honours degree in Pharmacology from Nottingham Trent University and a MSc. in Drug Delivery from Aston University. As part of her Master’s studies Amrit conducted research on the stability and sterility of eye drops used to treat glaucoma.
Amrit specialises in Readability User Testing and Usability Testing to aid the development of clear and understandable information for patients. As part of her work, Amrit engages actively with our local community. She has end to end responsibility for project work, from recruiting participants for studies through to conducting interviews. This approach builds upon Amrit’s ability to design and undertake experiments and to present original scientific data and ensures that she develops an in-depth understanding of how patients relate to their medicine’s information.
Amrit finds an outlet for her creative skills in cooking, baking, dancing, ice-skating and sketching. She has also undertaken various fundraising events with organisations in Africa and has done voluntary work for the Anthony Nolan Trust.
Amrit is fluent in English, Punjabi, Swahilli and Hindi.
