Dr Jenny Barker, PhD

Jenny joined Luto in 2018 after a career break to look after her family. She has a PhD from the University of Reading and a first-class honours Biology degree from the University of Manchester. She has post-doctoral research experience from the University of Kent and Imperial College London, where she held the position of Research Associate.

In her previous roles Jenny has published several academic papers, written articles for scientific and lay audiences, and assisted in the development of online teaching materials. At Luto Jenny works on a range of Readability User Testing and Usability Testing projects, using her expertise to aid the development of clear and understandable information for users.
