Luto awarded Cyber Essentials Plus certification

Although the Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated the development of digital health and telemedicine, it has also opened the door for hackers and cybercriminals to access and exploit our health data.

Since the outbreak, there have been thousands of attempts to trick internet users, ranging from fake emails claiming to sell PPE and testing kits, to counterfeit key worker badges which would entitle people to supermarket discounts.

At Luto, cyber security is something we have always taken very seriously. It’s vital to us that your data is in safe hands.

With this in mind, earlier this year we worked with Aindale to gain Cyber Essentials accreditation. Cyber Essentials is the industry standard and Government backed scheme for cyber security. Accredited businesses offer additional protection from a range of potential cyber attacks. Companies are only awarded Cyber Essentials status if the required controls are in place and up to the highest standard.

The good news is we have been awarded Cyber Essentials Plus: the ‘plus’ accreditation means we have been externally audited by an IASME-approved independent agency.
