Involving Users in Developing Health Information
We are pleased to inform you of our involvement in the upcoming Patient Information Forum (PIF) event on ‘Involving Users in Developing Health Information’, which will take place on Wednesday 17th May 2017 in London.
The event offers health information professionals the chance to network with other delegates whilst providing practical case studies and learning opportunities. It will support participants to consider:
- Understanding user needs
- How to involve users at each step of information resource development
- How to involve disadvantaged groups, and/or go beyond talking to the most engaged users
- Taking a co-production approach
- Different methods for engaging and seeking feedback from users
Luto’s Chief Executive Wayne Middleton will be chairing the day and Professor Theo Raynor, Luto’s Co-Founder and Academic Advisor will be presenting. Theo’s presentation will focus on his recent work using Experience Based Co-Design (EBCD) in the development of information for people with heart failure – he will be discussing the importance of involving users in the decision-making process.
