Join us at DIA Chicago this June

DIA 2017 Chicago Luto is proud to announce that we will be attending the DIA (Drug Information Association) annual meeting, themed ‘Driving Insights to Action’ – held between 19th and 22nd June in Chicago. DIA is the premier annual meeting for Life Sciences Professionals, designed to foster the international exchange of actionable insights to improve health globally through the advancement of lifesaving medicines and technologies. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and forge new partnerships with fellow industry colleagues.

The Luto team represented by Laura Blacker, Acting Operations Manager, Katie Kobilca, Business Development Manager and Wayne Middleton, CEO will be in attendance at the event, alongside 7,000 global healthcare professionals and over 450 exhibitors.

In the plenary session, Alexander Tsiaras – Founder, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of TheVisualMD.com will speak on ‘Interactive Storytelling’ and how ‘Personal Health Data Drives Unprecedented Patient Empowerment’.  The focus will be on why personal health data and patient engagement are critical to the long term viability of research.

Patient engagement is at the heart of Luto’s work and we are keen to hear more at DIA about the development of patient-centric initiatives, new approaches to digital patient engagement and consider what patients and other stakeholders want from patient engagement in the medical product life cycle.

The sessions on Regulatory Affairs will provide updates, insights, and thoughtful analysis of current issues within the field, including Brexit and its impact on the European Regulatory environment.

The Safety and Pharmacovigilance sessions will give an overview of the global regulatory environment in this field, setting the context for its main focus of examining system-level approaches to resolving complex pharmacovigilance issues of today. These sessions will be of particular interest to those involved in Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance, Risk Management and REMS, Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Research.
