DIA Europe – Basel 17th to 19th of April 2018

Luto is thrilled to be attending one of the most important industry events this year: DIA Europe.

DIA (Driving Insights into Action), brings healthcare product‑development professionals together to share insights, and drive action in healthcare product‑development, and life‑cycle management. It is the global forum for knowledge exchange that fosters innovation, to raise the level of health and well-being worldwide.

DIA Europe 2018 takes place in Basel, Switzerland between the 17th and 19th of April 2018. Luto will be exhibiting at Stand 16 where you can come and chat with Kirstin Blackwell and Claire Utting, Luto’s Senior Business Development Managers.

Luto’s co-founder and Academic Advisor, Professor Theo Raynor will be sharing his insights and expertise at the event on Thursday 19th of April. He will speak on the theme of ‘Making Clinical Trial Information Accessible’.

Theo will present findings from a joint project between Luto and Novo Nordisk, which set out to improve the standard of information provided to participants prior to undertaking a clinical trial. As part of his presentation, Theo will describe how the repeated application of User Testing, led to significant improvement in the quality of information materials.

Theo’s presentation links closely with Luto’s work in the field of Clinical Trial Lay Summaries; turning research reports into something a lay person can easily understand.

DIA Europe will also feature a special DIAmond session entitled, ‘Patient Centricity Beyond The Talk‘. At Luto, we always focus on user engagement, working closely with the public in the development of health information, and engaging with users early on in the design process. This enables us to produce safe and effective products and services which meet the needs of the end user.

We have expanded this concept by creating a designated Usability Lab, which offers a comfortable and flexible environment for those involved in our research activities.

We’re extremely excited to be attending this event and look forward to seeing you there!
